What is a Drip Creature?
Official: Steam says every fish has a rare variant to collect.
Video-tested: The launch-day videos repeatedly identify special catches with rainbow text as Drip Creatures. Their appearance can be deliberately silly—clothing, props, unusual colorways or other cosmetic transformations.
What to do with one
Take a Drip Creature to the dedicated skin/cosmetic machine and place it into the machine. The result is a cosmetic skin, not a free stronger weapon.
Players in the supplied videos received weapon, fishing-rod and boat skins from the cosmetic machine. Gold-colored results were associated with legendary-quality cosmetic unlocks in those sessions.
Do not confuse Drip with Endangered
A rainbow-text Drip Creature is not automatically the same thing as an Endangered Species quest catch. Read the item label before using it for the Tourist quest.
Collection goal
Achievements include collection-focused goals for rare/drip catches. Because the supplied footage did not establish a complete stable spawn table for every Drip form, this launch guide focuses on recognition and use rather than inventing percentages or locations.
