Core mechanic: let Spider Crab stun itself
Video-tested: Spider Crab charges aggressively, but certain rushes leave it dizzy or stunned. That creates the cleanest damage window.
- Keep enough distance to read the charge.
- Move off the attack line.
- Let the rush finish.
- Close in when the crab is visibly stunned.
- Attack, then back away before it recovers.
Trying to trade hits in front of the boss is much less forgiving than using the free vulnerability window.
Prepare before using the bait
Launch footage shows the boss can hit very hard. A Knife or Brass Knuckles plus food makes the first attempt much safer than going in with nothing. Upgrading the Knife before the fight also helped in tested runs.
